The much anticipated Expo 2020 Dubai is almost upon us, and the excitement is tangible! Having been postponed in 2020 due to the COVID pandemic, the Expo 2020 will now officially take place from 1 October 2021 to 31 March 2022.

What to expect at the Expo 2020 Dubai

Despite some travel restrictions and ongoing pandemic control measures, Reem Al Hashimy, director general of the Dubai Expo 2020, says they are holding on to the pre-pandemic target of 25 million visits during the course of the six-month international fair.
"The world has gone through these galactical shifts over the last year but now with vaccines being [rolled out], we believe that the situation will settle by October. We believe the situation will be far more positive by then." he says.
Worry not about the crowds, however, because the expo site covers 4.3sq km, or 613 football pitches, and will be serviced by its own metro station. All the necessary safety measures as mandated by the WHO will be strictly implemented to maintain a safe environment for visitors throughout the expo.

How to get around
With easy access to the main square and Expo’s 191 country pavilions, you literally have the best seats in the house when you stay at Rove Expo 2020.
